The competence and confidence of teachers in using technology is one of the biggest factors influencing the effective use in schools.
A Tablet Academy digital skills audit can provide a snapshot of the current skill levels in order to shape an effective CPD programme.

Basic SKILLS AUDIT (£800 +VAT)

Teachers complete an online survey ranking their skill levels and confidence  across a range of applications and digital tools. The outcomes are then summarised in a written report.

DETAILED SKILLS AUDIT (£2400 +VAT)

In addition to the online survey, this package also includes a day’s visit by a consultant to meet and interview staff. A detailed report and professional development plan is then provided.

Professional Development

Teacher Training delivered by experienced educators

Half-day Training: £550 (+VAT) / Full-day Training: £750 (+VAT)

Our professional development services are delivered as practical, hands-on group training sessions, or one-to-one support (including co-teaching) which focus on the appropriate use of technology in the classroom.

Delivered face-to-face or remotely by experienced educators, a training outline is created in consultation with your organisation prior to the workshops to ensure the required outcomes are achieved.

Tablet Academy trains an average of 20,000 teachers a year and courses are tailored to meet school's individual requirements. They often include such modules as:

Change Management & Independent Consultancy

Impartial consultancy for leadership to help educational institutions to create a holistic vision for teaching with technology which is designed to sit alongside a well-planned IT strategy.

Our Transformation Programme is a process during which the current and desired use of technology across an institution is evaluated, and the resulting data used to assist in the creation of a 3 year digital transformation strategy.

Drawing on information from the first two phases, a strategy is produced followed by a procurement process designed to reduce costs and establish a sustainable financial model.

Consultancy is charged at £750 per day / £550 per half-day
